Networking
It might not seem obvious but this little collection owes itself to the forest nearby my family home. Iíve never particularly liked it as a kid. Itís where we would go for those boring walks in the first grades of the elementary school.
It took me coming back home for half a year to slowly curb it, make it feel safe. I started going there in late autumn and at this time of the year itís quite ugly and full of natural decay. Nevertheless, I got fascinated with its grey autumn shapes: grass, trees and soil. I started to love them.
The other memory from my childhood that those walks evoked was a feeling of isolation and being unable to fit in that have persisted on some level throughout my life. The patterns, networks of branches, shrubsí offshoots and artificial elements thrown into the nature became for me a visual metaphor of a place we occupy in the society, out relationships and ties that connect us all Those that I love, those that hate, those that Iím afraid I might lose and those that I fear.
